Rimini, Italy... Not a Bad Place to Hold an Action Sports Event! Rimini is world famous as a beachfront vacation town. By day, thousands of bikini-clad Europeans bask under umbrellas on the sand; by night, they strap on heels and halter-tops and party until the sun rises. It's the perfect location for the sixth stop of the LG Action Sports World Tour. Set between the beach and the shopping street in the picturesque Piazzale Fellini, Rimini saw amazing vert demos, a standing-room-only crowd of fashionistas and the best skateboarding of the tour. Where skateboarders ride Vespa scooters, rollerbladers slurp gelato and BMX impresarios sip cappuccinos, that's where the adventure happens! Check back soon for full recaps and results. Meantime check out photos from the event! |

LG Action Sports World Tour does not disappoint the Crowds at Olympiapark München If Germany is best known for its beer, that's only because nobody ever looked up and saw how unbelievably blue the sky gets after a day of rain. Sunday morning on day two of the event at Olympiapark in Munich was unquestionably the nicest weather in Europe's long and distinguished history, and nobody celebrated that fact better than the action sports athletes on hand for the day's competitions. |

LG Action Sports World Tour Kicked Off in Moscow May 14-15 While many of the skateboarders have been on tour for a couple of months, the first stop of the 2005 LG Action Sports World Tour in Moscow on May 14-15 marked the first major contest of the 2005 season for the BMX riders and inline skaters. At 13'9" tall, the LG Action Sports World Tour ramp is one of the largest on the planet, helping to deliver massive airs and big tricks. The Moscow event did not disappoint. While the weather was cool with scattered showers on Saturday, Sunday turned out huge crowds, sunny skies and some great skateboarding, inline skating and BMX riding. |
